Back to School – School Supply Giveaway

Life Center of Brandon host their annual “Back to School Supply Give Away”  every August in the Brandon area.

Life Center distributes Backpacks along with all the basic essentials to start school from Kindergarten through 12th Grade. The annual event also offers school health exams by a local certified physician at no charge to the families. Free vision screenings are also available during the event. The 2008 Give Away serviced 192 students in the Brandon area.

Christmas Banquet – Toy Giveaway

Life Center of Brandon partners with local businesses and Life Center members to distribute toys for families in the Brandon area in need during the Christmas Holiday. Each family receives toys and gift items according to their specific needs and age level. The gifts are distributed during the Christmas Banquet at Life Center the Sunday before Christmas Day. All families receiving gifts must be registered prior to December 15^th.

We are always in need of toy donations or cash donations for this event from individuals and local businesses.  Thanks to the annual Rough Riders "Teddy Bear Run" for their annual donations of stuffed animals and toys.

The 2008 Christmas Outreach will be held at Life Center of Brandon on Sunday, December 21st.
